November Grey

Hello Million Friends,

Where have you been? I’ve been dancing with the stars and mmmmm… my feet really hurt! During the last rehearsal I did the chinese splits and ended up drooling on my costume. I have drooled while singing before, but never while dancing. Oh well, there’s a first time for everything.

Below is a photo of my childhood friend Rosemary Nisi sitting in front of my most recent painting in process. I snapped a few reference shots of Rose so that I can paint a portrait of her.

This is the finished piece!

I like it very much, it’s bold! It will rest for a bit and then we’ll see if it changes again. In the mean time, have a listen to a comment about the painting above by an esteemed art critic. ;)

Pray for peace,
Chris

This is a powerful landscape! I agree with you Chris, color and texture, design are in symphony..bold and beautiful. My favorite part is the big hand smear on the left. Bonus – better than a written signature. Excellent job, Rosemary..and Christerical strikes again humorously promoting other Artists on her own blog. Definitely best friend material.

The gray areas, which are alive in their own way, make the colors absolutely vibrate! The more I look at it the better I like it! Good to see you back in blogland.
