My Newest Painting – Lilies

Lilies

Hello Million Friends,

My show in March 2009 is at Lauritzen Gardens and requires all botanical and landscape images.  There are many tasks to accomplish prior to the show.

I knew I was going to be doing the show since March 2007, so I’ve had plenty of time to think about what I need to do and that’s why I’m scurrying around doing it now.   :)    I’m as cool as a cucumber, fresh as a daisy, red as a lobster?

…and sweet as a Lily!! Beautiful, Chris – nice restraint with the colors, and I love that yellow ochre background. How many paintings are intended for the show?

Chris I absolutely LOVE the yellow in this painting. It’s yummy. And makes me think of spring, here in the dead of winter. And I love that you’re scurrying around *now* because that sounds just like me and I am happy to know I am not the only one. I hope you will share what else you are doing for the show!

The latest painting of lilies is absolutely gorgeous. You capture the soft elegance of the flowers against a striking golden backdrop. Once again, your artistic talent flows across the canvas.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. You make my day and night. :)

@Nikki – Right now I’m shooting for 20-30 paintings for the show.

Chris,
Your work is so joyful. I enjoy seeing the old ones and the new ones.
I really get excited and happy when I see your work. And in my
own home, they never get old. They’ll stop me in my tracks.
Love,
Joanne

Chris – you are so wonderful I can’t even believe it. How did you ever happen? When I read what you write, or look at your art I feel SO happy, it’s just great. I LOOOOOVE your llama! It’s gorgeous. You shouldn’t pay anyone $700/mo. to show in their gallery. They should pay YOU.

Seriously, just knowing you are here, being you, gives me a wonderful feeling. You are overflowing with talents, and a gift for being funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you sell every painting in your show! I hope there aren’t too many really, really short people there….

Love,
Priscilla
