How To Earn Money Selling My Art

Hello Million Friends,

There are so many ways that an artist can market their work it makes my head spin.

If you remember the way Linda Blair’s head was spinning in “The Exorcist”, well it’s just like that. My head looks exactly like that, it’s spinning fast, but I’m not spewing green.

Marketing can be costly, and it not only makes my head spin but my wallet does backflips.

So I thought why not offer up a commission to anyone that wants to sell my artwork? There are lots of people out there I would love put on my payroll. Not just galleries!

People, people….. all the peeps out there that need to make a buck, pay for gas, food, toilet paper, art. The essentials of life!

*** Buy this painting and get a 20% discount. ***

But wait Crazy Chris. How do I promote your art so I can make a whopping 20% (that’s $Contact Me you’ll make) commission?

Hmmm…, let me think. Ok, here’s the scoop, link to this blog post by writing a blog post on your blog or just provide a link at your blog or website by copying the URL for this exact post which is http://chrisbolmeier.com/2008/04/painting-of-day-sell-my-artwork.html.

You can also include this image on your blog or website if you’d like. It is a smaller representation of the image above and would fit nicely in a sidebar. I’ll probably make more of these banners/buttons in different sizes but I need to take some time and stop my head from spinning. :)

Put it at the top, side or anywhere on your blog or website. If you can sell this piece of art, you make $Contact Me straight up. BAM!! $Contact Me would buy you an incredible night out with your sweetie. Ok, to hell with your sweetie, keep the $Contact Me and go buy some shoes and anything else you want for yourself. :)

There is only one of these painings and the transaction has to be completed by PayPal and all funds transferred and cleared before a payout is made. The first person who sells this painting for $Contact Me will receive $Contact Me in commission and will be notified by me.

Email me at chris@chrisbolmeier.com to get the transaction going and I will provide you with the PayPal link so that transaction can be completed safely and securely-ly.

Come on now, I WANT YOU to make $Contact Me bucks off me on my art via the Internet. I want you to have the glorious feeling of running around and bragging to your friends and peers that you made $Contact Me affiliate payout off this goofy gal named Christerical at http://chrsiterical.blogspot.com.

I know, I know, I know!! You’re saying…

But Chris of http://chrisbolmeier.com, you are being completely Rick Dickulous!!

You’ve dropped your guard Christerical. Why are you doing this?

What happened to those little pills you told me you were taking to calm you down Christerical?

And I have to say again and again, I want you to make $Contact Me off this piece of art called After Waterhouse when you sell it for me for $Contact Me.

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!! Oh My God, I’m going to get into so much trouble with my board members. They’re not going to believe what I’m doing. This image is how myself, the affiliates and my board members feel.

In the very near future (days from now), I will provide a listing of my art I want sold over the Internet from my blog with percentages you can make by selling my art off this thingy called the Internet, which I believe Al Gore created. ;)

That’s Right. My new program I’m introducing TODAY is called

The Christerical Art Affiliate Program
CAAP for short. This took hours of research and advertising test sites to name, and multiple board meetings to get approved. ;)

Please use the “Subscribe” form in the upper right-hand corner of this blog so you can receive future Art news and announcements in the future.

Chris February 9, 2009 at 7:34 am

@james – So how would you make it work then? Do you buy stuff on the Internet? How would you make the affiliate program work for artists so there are no holes in the system?

james fancher February 10, 2009 at 10:31 am

well, something less transparent, at the least, i would guess.
