Good Morning Heartache

November 21, 2008 · 11 comments

Hello Million Friends,

I decided to sing another song to put up on my blog and came across an old standard called Good Morning Heartache by Irene Higginbotham, Ervin Drake and Dan fisher.

Many people have sung this song, most notably and originally recorded by Billy Holiday. It’s still a standard for many singers and a delight to sing.

So I decided to take it on first thing this morning and I sing it to a special guest towards the end of the video. So please watch all of it to find out who the special guest is. :) Hope you enjoy.

(3 minutes and 43 seconds)

If you’ve received this as an email or in an RSS reader, and can’t play the video, click on this link to go to my blog and view the video.

To find more videos of me singing, view this category list called Chris Singing.

Pray for Peace,
Chris

Chris, it’s so nice to see and hear you singing again. I wish you’d do it more often!

P.S. Can I have your dog?

Cestandria,Andrea,
Thank you both for the heartfelt comments. And Whiskey just happened to be sitting there so I picked him up…. he’s pretty adorable. He has a little toy that he takes with him wherever he goes. It’s very cute!
Thanks again,
Chris

I agree with Nikki ! I want to hear you sing more and more, it’s such a treat. Next song you must introduce Cookie, let’s hope she gives us a sweet smile too.

Hey, Miss Chris! I sooo remember you singing this song. Still love it! So do you take requests? How about “Do You Wanna Dance” the slow Bette Midler version you use to do? And as far as your puppies comment about Lassie…well Lassie never had an owner as talented as you!

Hugs, Jaye

PS Start thinking about doing “My Funny Valentine?”

Oh my God you make me laugh out loud Chris! I’m at the library here in Advocate Nova Scotia just a hop skip from Apple River, as the crow flys. Anyway I have dial -up at home and so wanted to wait to listen to you sing as I could access high-speed here in the megatropolis of Advocate Harbour! Oh ya! Anyway it was great hearing you singing, great range, pitch and stage presense to boot! Good job throwin’ the Whiskey dogger in too! Perfect marketing ploy! Great, just great! I loved it! Cat

Oh ya…just wanted to add, the dogs are just sweet. Next dog I get is definately going to be a chawowa however you spell that. Reminds me of Mr. Winkle; ya know him? OMG love that lil’ critter! Last dog I had was a big 90 pound Coonhound. Had to give him to my cousin he has a family and they just love him to death. He gets lotsa love and lotsa excercise. Sure do miss havin’ a dogger! -cat
