Field Bouncer

fieldbouncer10 Field BouncerWe were in Iowa snapping pictures of farms . This handsome llama was safekeeping the Rams, Turkeys and Ostrich.

He was about 100 yards across the gated field. He was cooly sizing me up while sitting under a shade tree relaxed as could be.

I slowly but carefully approached the railing to snap a picture. He decided to make sure I wasn’t a threat and he walked to the fence. With about 15 feet between us…. we had a stare down….he didn’t blink once… (for me it was more like a scare down).

His lips resembled that of a camel, they started twitching. I wasn’t sure if he was preparing to spit in my face or giving me that “can I have a little smooch?” signal. :)
