Hello Million Friends,
This week I interviewed my friend, Mary Jo Pane, designer and creator of Miracle Icons.
How would I describe Mary Jo Pane? Energetic, Kind, Spiritual, Achiever, and a bit of a “Squeaky Wheel”, and I mean that in the most reverent way.
We were best friends in High School and she truly is one of the nicest people you would ever know. When she sees something she wants, she goes after it and doesn’t stop until she achieves it. In fact, in High School she pushed me to audition for “Hello Dolly” and I got the lead.

I was very shy then, but Mary Jo knew I could sing and wouldn’t let up on me until I auditioned. I’m happy that she didn’t let up on me because it was very instrumental to my singing and acting career, and “got the ball rolling”, so to speak. Thanks Mary Jo.
Mary Jo’s from a very tight knit Italian family. They lived in a beautiful 2-story home in a historic part of Omaha. They were/are a God-centered family, so there were always statues, crucifixes on the walls, and many reminders of their strong faith in their home.
Last Sunday I was reading an article about how Bruce Springsteen kissed Mary Jo Pane’s hand and said “So you’re the lady that makes these cool necklaces”. WOW!! She hasn’t washed her hand since.
In this audio post I ask Mary Jo about the celebrities who wear her necklaces. Mary Jo’s Press page also reveals more celebrities who have purchased her necklaces.
When I read about her Miracle Icon necklaces I thought it was such a natural progression for her. Knowing her character, her success was purpose-driven.
She was always interested in fashion and design, and had natural talents in that direction. After moving to New York City she worked in the fashion district. So I decided to call her and see what’s going on, listen to this.
(10 minutes)
You can purchase Mary Jo Pane’s jewelery at Blue Bee.
I would like to thank Mary Jo for taking time to speak with me about her Icons.
There is nothing like connecting with a childhood friend like Mary Jo, we have so much history and there is a lot of comfort there. My best to you and your family for the Holidays. Love You.
Thanks,
Chris
